One of the aspects of your video game return to Madden is celebrating Nike's legendary Bo Knows campaign. Bring us back to beginning. How did Bo Knows present the idea for Mut 22 coins Bo Knows to you?
We happened upon Bo Knows accidentally. Directors, writers, or sketchers -- we were sitting in a circle, looking over storyboards for our next shoot. We wanted to cut the length as it was quite long. Everyone was giving their opinions about this or this. I said, "Why shouldn't this be done? ... Do we should we shift this over here, and put this there, then combine it, and cut out about 5 or 6 minutes?' Then they looked at me with a smile and thought 'Wow. It's probably a good idea. A person across the table looked towards me with a smile and replied "Bo Knows!' The phrase stuck. No one sat down and racked their brains or stayed up late in search of that catchy slogan. It was just a matter of sitting around the table discussing shots.
Before you received a shoe that was a trademark, that was the Nike Air Bo Turf, in 1990, you starred in for the Nike Air Trainer 3, which became known as your shoe. What are your memories concerning your experience with the Air Trainer 3?
Well, I'll put it like this. In 1969 as I was in the first grade of my life in rural Alabama in the winter months, it was in 30s in the outside. And I was required to attend school barefoot. No shoes. I'm not expressing this for empathy or as a sob story. However, I do remember my brother standing a block away from his house. I'm at the front entrance. There was a sister standing just a few blocks from my younger brother. my other sister was at the bus stop. My sister who was at the bus stop spotted the bus top the hill only a couple of miles away from her, she'd shout towards my younger sister, who would yell to my brother, and then my brother would yell at me. Then I'd walk out the door barefoot. When my brother got to my sister's house I'd probably caught him up to speed. At the time we made it close to buy Madden nfl 22 coins our bus stop, I was 15 to 20 yards ahead of my sister and brother. From going to school barefoot in the winter of '69 to becoming a teenager and wearing my own sneaker that was inspired by me ... I was blessed.
